Kalara Studios incorporates as Luminant Audio!

Kalara Studios is celebrating its 4-year anniversary and with that welcomes a new chapter of business under the Luminant LLC., family.

Why? This transition brings with it new energy and a host of new team members who's expertise extend into many other appendages of the media and production community including: video editing, web streaming, lighting design, set design and event production.

Still based within the Fremont Studios building in Seattle Washington, Luminant Audio brings superb quality, professionalism and a fun loving crew to all of it's projects!

For the past 4 years, we have been working all over the country with some of the best in the biz and creating inspirational relationships with top artists and producers.

Luminant Audio's remote 48 input Pro Tools powerhouse is the center of our mobile community and is excited to announce several new, smaller systems to accommodate a wider variety of on-site recording.

For close to a decade, Mark Miller, owner and head engineer for Luminant Audio, has been recording and mixing live records, DVD's and broadcasts for artist such as: Third Eye Blind, KT Tunstall, Blind Boys of Alabama, Amos Lee, Snow Patrol, The Shins, Lonestar, Paolo Nutini, Sum 41, Band of Horses, Hinder, The Moscow Boys Choir, Wanda Sykes, Henry Rollins, The Keith Highlanders Pipe Band and many more.

Since its conception in 2004, the studio has been responsible for a vast array of in studio records for musicians like: White, Dickie Betts, The Bad Things, Sons of Guns, Bronwyn Edwards Cryer, Left at the Castle, 33, Vinnie Blue, Deveroux, the Sweet Dominique's, Edisyn, Space Accordion Orchestra, Blue Tarp, Jim Kerl's Swing Band, The Shrinks, Dabouge, Emilia Sosa, Bre Loughlin, Beehive, Soul Kata, Johnny Conga, Quist Hammer, Max Keene, and a host of others.

In addition to the music world, Luminat Audio spends a great deal of time in the post production world, working on commercials, voice overs and sound design for clients like: The North Face, Audiosocket, Sony, Waggner-Edstrom, HDNet, IAI Presentations, The Carlini Group, Sparkworks Media and AT&T Blue room.
